What is a Hometown Media Ambassador?
We think that local media, particularly radio is a great way of reaching people who aren't part of the twittersphere!
Local media is interested in stories about and from people in the area. So we're looking to sign up local media ambassadors in cities across the country.
What will this mean for you?
You dont need any media experience - we'll provide you with all the training you need. All you need about 5-8 hours free between February 10th-14th to contact media and respond to their questions.

Local Media Ambassadors will:
- receive a media kit
- use the media kit instructions to call/tweet/email local radio shows; we hope that will generate 2-4 interviews for you!
- Prepare for your media appearances (most would likely be on the 13th or 14th)
- You'll have a chance to hear others’ experiences; get paired practice; see videos/ hear stories about last year to share; and develop your own motivational story to share.
